OFFICIAL RELEASE OF THE VISION FOR THE TOWN COMING SOON.

NOTE: The written vision for the Parry Sound project will not be posted immediately and there is a reason for this.

An OFFICIAL presentation and press conference will be held in the near future, possibly in May but more likely in June to stir up more curiosity and interest. It is hoped that as people get exposed to bits and pieces, that they will begin to dream again, and begin to feel inspired. This is when the full vision can be shared, and the community can begin working on it.

Over the years, MANY individuals had visions for creating ‘utopian’ communities where they could exist with like-minded individuals. While their hearts may have been in the right places, many projects also ended up failing.

A number of groups are attempting to create their own communities, and two groups in particular are trying to create their own NATIONS. One group is seeking to create a micro-nation on Earth, while the other is seeking to create a micro-nation in SPACE.

I joined each of these two groups and share the vision of the G4L:

LIBERLAND ( https://liberland.org/en/ )

This collective has been seeking to claim a disputed piece of land that exists between Croatia and Serbia. It is not a very big piece of land, but it was chosen because it was disputed and thus maybe both countries would give up control, so another micro-nation could be born.

The concept behind the vision started out really well.

I began to lose interest however as I saw how the vision was developing. I saw where the emphasis was being placed and I knew immediately that this micro-nation was only attempting to use current-paradigm thinking to merely establish another separate nation. I did not see, nor did I experience, any sense that the vision of this nation would be able to handle that many people living in close proximity without dealing with the emotional traumas/baggage that are starting to come up in humans. This project, assuming it succeeds in moving forward, WILL have challenges…many of them, and it is going to take longer than they may have believed in the beginning due to certain oversights.

They planned/designed their community to reflect the design of communities around the world: grid-like, with no dedicated space to ‘community’ for safety and celebration.

I put together my own vision for the community, based on the G4L as it was up to that time around 2015-2016 if I remember correctly.

The concerns I have are these: The planners of Liberland are trying to set up their nation according to the existing geopolitical guidelines and they are building diplomatic nations worldwide to seek recognition for their identity. Fair enough.

However, a LOT of time, money and effort has been spent playing that particular game, and now the world is shifting in ways where the old way of doing things is no longer working.

I personally would have preferred to see the creation of a more self-sustaining vision FIRST, in preparation for the changes that we are NOW seeing happen in the world.

Unfortunately, they were not interested in hearing this, and … here we are today.

Up to the time I left, I was not seeing much interest or concern in developing a healthy community ethic.

I will not say the project is ‘bad’. I will say however that I personally feel it is VERY INCOMPLETE and lacks a more holistic component to its overall vision.

In the beginning, I was REALLY excited about this project, because I personally know that we are not alone in the Universe, and I have a better-than-most awareness of our connection to LIFE beyond Earth.

Given all that I had learned up that point, around 2016 if I recall, I could see the ‘bigger picture’ challenges facing this micro-nation, and also the ‘BIGGER, bigger picture’ challenges facing this project. (If you are unclear about these perspectives, please see Question 2 on the FAQ page.)

In my mind, I could quite easily envision the opportunities and the challenges, and I immediately signed up so I could be on the government of this forming space-nation.

In looking over the campaign platforms of other candidates, I very confident that I had prepared a guiding vision that would not only help for the physical creation of the space-nation, but ALSO prepare humans for the realities of living in a space-based environment.

I was not elected, nor was the leadership interested in considering what I had prepared. I have covered a number of topics that no other candidate had covered, and yet an alternative that offered a more balanced preparation was of no interest to them.

I no longer actively follow this project, but I managed to find one or two meaningful friendship connections.
